Mrs. Mary N. Bawa  

Regional Director || North-Central Region


She joined PPFN as the State Manager in 1994 and rose to the position of Zonal Coordinator, North Central, Niger State in 2001.  She holds a certificate in Midwifery, from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Teaching Hospital, Zaria, (1974), Diploma in nursing, from the School of Nursing, Bida, (1981), and Diploma in Community Health, from ABU, Teaching Hospital, Zaria, (1984) and Advanced Diploma in Administration from Federal University of Technology, Minna.  She worked as the Principal of School of Health Technology, Minna until 1992. She had also worked as a trainer for Family Planning Service Provider. She had attended various workshops/ seminars on SRH both within the country and abroad.

Mrs. B.C. Nwibechukwu

Regional Director || South East Region


Mrs. Nwibechukwu holds a B.Sc in Public Health Nursing and also a Registered Nurse/Midwife.  She worked as a Nurse/Midwife with General Hospital, Oji River from 1981 to 1982 and later became a Nurse Tutor with the School of Health Technology, Oji River.  She joined PPFN in 1995 as State Manager in the Enugu State Association.  She was to be re-designated as Zonal Coordinator for the South East Zone and later in 2005 as Regional Director for the entire South East Region.

Ms Elizabeth Joe

Regional Director || North West Region


Miss Joe is a graduate of Agriculture from the Federal University of Technology, Yola.  She was involved in development work during her brief stay with Women Environmental Programme in Kaduna (2002) as Programme Officer.  She later joined the AID Foundation also in Kaduna as a Programme Officer in 2002 and thereafter worked as a Producer with the Newage Communication Network, Kaduna, from where she moved to Fhauzy Communications Limited, Abuja as Senior Producer in 2008.  Miss Joe joined PPFN in 2009 as Regional Programme Officer (Advocacy) and later became the Regional Director.


Mrs. Julianah Agbonlahor

Regional Director || South South Region


Mrs. Agbonlahor holds B.Sc (Hons.) Degree in Health Education (2003) and a Diploma in Health Administration and Management (1998), Certificate in Family Planning Clinic Service Providers (1992), Diploma in Community Health Education (1991).  She is a Registered Nurse/Midwife.  Mrs. Agbonlahor has over 10 years working experience including as Assistant Director (Nursing Services/State Family Planning Coordinator) in the Edo State Ministry of Health, Programme Officer (Service Delivery) PPFN South South Region and later Regional Director, PPFN South South Region from 2013 todate.  Mrs. Agbonlahor has attended several training and learning among which are Training of Trainers Out of School Youth as Peer Educators on HIV/AIDS 2009, Prevention of MTCH of HIV and Paediatric anti Rerovial Therapy in Edo State (UNICEF 2010), PMTCT/PEADS ART Scale Up Plan for Edo State 2010, Interpersonal Communication and Human Relations for Health Workers in support of PMTCT of HIV prevention, Leadership and Management (2013).

Mr. Adamu Abdulkadir Degri

Regional Director || North East Region


Mr. Degri holds B.Sc (Ed) Health Education from University of Maiduguri (2008).  He has many years of working experience, having started his career as a Health Attendant at the Balanga LGA in Gombe State and later as Field Supervisor, Water and Sanitation.  He later became the Ummunization and Child Welfare/Disease Surveillance Officer.  He moved on to become a volunteer with the Guidance and Counselling Development Association (GCDA) in Gombe State. He was also the State Project Officer in Gombe State for the Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria from where he moved on to become Programme Officer at the North East Regional Officer and Regional Director since 2013. 

Mrs. Elizabeth Abimbola

Regional Director || South West Region


Mrs. Abimbola holds B.Sc Degree in Nursing Administration from the National Open University (2010).  She is a Registered Nurse and Midwife.  Mrs. Abimbola has held many key positions of responsibility and has over 15 years of experience.  Among the positions she held include Regional Director of the PPFN in South West Region from 2013 todate, Programme Officer (Service Delivery) PPFN South West Region, Principal Nursing Officer, Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, Senior Nursing Officer at the Baptist Medical Centre, Ogbomoso and Staff Nurse/Midwife at Graces Medical Centre, Lagos. Mrs. Abimbola has attended several training and learning events.
