The Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN) is a national non-governmental organization promoting Reproductive Health (RH) in Nigeria.  As a full member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), PPFN has expanded the scope of its programs beyond family planning to cover broad reproductive health, emphasizing the needs of adolescents and young people and safe motherhood.  PPFN seeks suitably qualified candidates for the positions:

Responsibilities: This positions aims to organize and deliver integrated reproductive health and family planning services in a friendly environment at both clinic and outreach levels.

Requirements:

    • B.Sc. in Nursing and Registered Nurse/ Midwife Certificate
    • Certificate in Family Planning.
    • Five (5) years of relevant work experience in SRH&R/FP provision.
    • Excellent contextual, analytical, writing and oral communication skills.
    • Team leadership and team playing qualities/experience.
    • Familiarity with the WHO eligibility criteria for contraceptives use.
    • Computer literacy skill (a key requirement for use in Clinic Information Management System)

Responsibilities: The purpose of this position is to coordinate the efforts of the service delivery unit with other departments and supervise the delivery of qualitative sexual and reproductive health/family planning services

Requirements:

    • B.Sc. in Nursing.
    • Minimum of five years relevant work experience including not less than three years in an NGO (preferably in FP & SRH&R).
    • Excellent contextual, analytical, writing, and oral communication skills.
    • Team leadership and team playing qualities/experience
    • Familiarity with key national and international implementing, support, and donor organizations in SRH
    • Computer literacy skills such as Microsoft Packages (excel, word, access), SPSS, Epi-info, etc.
    • Strong knowledge of NGO operations particularly those in reproductive health including family planning, maternal and child health, sexual health and women development, program development and management.
    • Familiarity with varied socio-cultural issues as they relate to SRH in the country and sensitivity to cross-cultural issues and concerns.
    • Membership of relevant professional associations
