Mr Wabi holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies, BSc Sociology, and he is a Registered Nurse. Until his appointment as PPFN Regional Director, he was the Deputy Director HIV control/ Community Mobilization Officer Bauchi State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS, TB Leprosy and Malaria. He has a vast experience in the area of HIV/ AIDS Program. His strength is in the area of HIV Prevention, Adolescent Reproductive Health, Family Planning and Community Interventions. He has 25 years of working experience, 15 years in the Public sector and 10 years in Development work. Mr Wabi worked with Society for Family Health (SFH) as a Regional Communication Officer targeting MARPS covering Borno, Yobe and Adamawa State between 2004 to 2007. He has served as LGA Development Coordinator/Team leader Bauchi North under the Targeted States High Impact Project (TSHIP), a USAID Funded Project between 2010 to 2013. He has also attended so many training, seminars, conferences and workshops within the country.
